Swarnawahini gets a new dynamic CEO Aditya Ray
EAP Broadcasting Company owned Swarnawahini the Sinhala language entertainment and news television channel in Sri Lanka a subsidiary of EAP Holdings head hunts the major turnaround strategist Mr. Aditya Ray as their new CEO to head the media operations in Sri Lanka. Mr. Ray confirmed his appointment when inquired by our team over phone.
Aditya Ray served as a Group Director of The Capital Maharaja Organization in Sri Lanka and as the CEO of MTV Channel (Pvt) Ltd. Under his self-motivated, enthusiastic leadership Sirasa became the Number ONE channel in Sri Lanka in 2005. After his return to Sri Lanka in 2014, he revamped Sirasa yet again from number six position to number one.
He is an analytic, branding and turnaround strategist with years of experience from working as the Zonal Head, Vice President for The Times of India, Senior Vice President of Zee Network, Senior Management positions at Zee Regional Channels and Zee TV to name a few from his prestigious media background. Apart from this he has been a Management Consultant for years in India and abroad.
Not only has he an illustrious career with years of experience behind, he graduated from some of the most prestigious universities in India, the rare combination of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, the premier engineering and management Universities in India.
Currently, Aditya Ray has taken on an immense responsibility to revamp Swarnawahini and to improve operations. With his impressive track record this will be an interesting challenge for him.
